New at Sanctum Una Una!

Sidemount Diver -course (ADIP)

As an addition to Una Una’s course offering, there is now also a Sidemonth Diver course!

The Sidemonth Diver course introduces you to diving with one or more tanks attached to the on diver’s sides. This method gives the diver more flexibility and streamlining options. The most common way to dive is to use 2 tanks. This diving style works great, for example, if your back becomes sore when the tanks are traditionally placed on your back or you want to dive in caves. As a Sidemount diver, you also don’t have to walk with heavy tanks on your back – you just go into the water, attach bottles and start diving.

Course content:
  • a theoretical section reviewing the benefits and fundamentals of Sidemounth diving
  • pool exercises and three open water dives over two days
  • you will learn to set your own Sidemounth system
  • you will learn to balance with Sidemounth system for optimal weight
  • while diving with double tanks you will learn how to change your stage tanks
  • you will learn how to act correctly in possible problems while diving (or avoid them)
